today was an annoyed day.
started with cello in the morning. that was fine.
then we went down to the cantonment complex to get the cncc. there were only 2 counter people, one of which was not serving at the counter but doing fingerprints. so that meant only one person serving. and many many people waiting. and i was annoyed cos they never tell you what documents are required for different cases (like studies or work). and alot of people who went down didnt know that they needed to produce certain documents. myself included. so end up queueing for an hour only to be rejected at the counter. and it doesnt help that she wasnt very friendly. ugh. spf needs to do smth bout this man.
next up was lunch. due to the delay at the complex, we were late for lunch reservation by like almost an hour. and i was really reluctant to eat there cos my dad had this voucher thing he wanted to use up but it was not necessary to. and eating there might make us late for the medical appt at 2.10 at woodlands. ya but obviously, i couldnt say anything...
after that we had problems locating woodlands civic centre. cos i thought since my dad was driving, he would voice out if he didnt know the place. but he didnt. and his street directory didnt have the building in it. so we were driving ard the place. and was alr 40 mins late for the appt (i was told the next appt was at 3 and 3.30 so i was ready to just go home and book another appt another day). but then my dad made me call them to ask for directions.
i was really irritated alr. i dunno if i had a right to be irritated with anyone/at anything but i was. argh. put me in such a gloomy mood. nvm, i look forward to dinner with keewei in a while

MY DAY OF REST HAS COME. yay. finally.
the past week since we returned from hk has been very draining. i knew the activities that had been planned for the week but then somehow i didnt realise/expect that it would be so back to back/tiring/dragged so long.. so it resulted in early days and late nights, with endless activities filling the spaces between.
thurs- working midshift
fri- CCIS
sat- j1s vision casting/mhs planning, buying stuff for j3s mhs, cg at chia's
sun- church, lunch at merchant court, midshift
mon- CCIS
tues- cello, lunch with siewmin, j1s mhs
wed- 2nd opener, christmas eve service
ack i cant rmb what i did on fri and mon but im certain it was activity filled too :S stm. oh well. i'll fill it in when i rmb. ahha
yes, so im very tired and worn out. anw, mhs was prob the highlight of the week. cos we had many new friends and the atmosphere was really welcoming and comfortable. yeah. God's seeds were sown and now to pray for the growth of these seeds in the hearts of new friends. (oh i just rmb what i did on mon and fri)
pacey's leaving in about a week ): i still feel as though we didnt spend enough time tgt. and then it'll be a year before we meet again )))):

ooooh hk was mighty fun ((:
i forgot to switch off my phone on the plane. i dunno why i had the impression that it was off. so only when i took it out to 'on' it did i realise that it was never off. haha. and they blame for the turbulence we had. the plane like fell so we had the weird floaty stomach feeling. hahah. after arriving at hk airport, we took a bus down to the road we were going to stay. we got conned by the photos of the hostel on the net. tsk. really deceiving. cos it looks really decent online and stuff but when we arrived at the place, our jaws dropped and we crossed our fingers that we weren't standing in front of the right building. haha. it's really dilapidated. and they still say that it has been intentionally preserved by the govt. anw, the room itself was alright la so after a while we kinda got used to it. spent the rest of our first day walking along nathan road. we walked like almost 3 mtr stops. found a place for dinner too and bought some stuff for our budget breakfast the next day. haha. played cards.
day 2 we went to ocean park! didnt really sit on alot of rides but still enjoyed the company. the minetrain (our first ride) was a wake up for me chrystal and gloria. hahah. cos got 3 drops. and i sat with gloria and she couldnt scream. it was weird. hahaha. i still love you pacey (: took the cable car down. and then we went to walk the WHOLE of nurenjie. by the time we got back to tsim sha tsui we were ready to collapse from all the walking. cos ocean park also alot of slopes and stuff. then nurenjie cuts across 4 roads i think. and each section is veh long. i got 2 knit stuff. and stickers. haha. so we just ate at some random stall for dinner and went back to our hostel by like 7 i think. super early. haha. just played bridge and big2 all the way. and cheryl invented this question and answer game. but it was nice having 'heart to heart' talks. hahaha.
on the third day, what did we do ah.. oh. we went eggtart hunting. went to central. walked like an hour plus on an empty stomach to find this famous eggtart place which we had no idea where the shop was. my goodness. but it was worth the find. the tarts are heavenly! we at them under an overhead bridge like the old locals do. haha. it was yummy (: then we went H&M to shop before going up to victoria's peak. nice view, just spoilt by the pollution. but still. we had ice cream and just sat and talked nonsense for a while before gg for lunch. then we went down to causeway bay to look around and we went to uniqlo and all of us got new jackets. like some hoodies, marshmellow jackets and fleece jackets. hahah. headed back to tsimshatsui on a very VERY packed train (we were literally like sardines in a can and had to wait 4 trains to get on) to put our shopping in our room and then and then... we went to the beeg beeg esprit warehouse! the one i went to in sec 4 which i couldnt rmb if it was a warehouse or just a big outlet. things we very cheap. super marked down prices. alot were like halfpriced and below. like some shirts were gg for S$12? yeah. we spent a really long time in there. haha. then went for dinner and back to our room where we played cards again. and we played the category game. it was damn amusing. we thus concluded that my pacey cannot multitask. haha. she has a very interesting brain. which more of it's secrets were revealed during the trip about how it functions (: i love my pacey. haha
last day, we went for a good DIMSUM breakfast after some weird camwhoring in the room. yay. then went back to central to pick up eggtarts for our families and some snacks. and more food in causeway bay. we looked for this dessert shop. i love steamed milk now (: it's so yummy. ahaha. then we went back to pick up our luggage and headed to the airport. we had popeye's and more card games. there was this little prc girl at the immigration counter. she was so cute! she pointed to her mum and said damn loudly 'ni3 zhen3 me4 ke2 yi3 diu1 xia4 wo3 yi1 ge4 ren2 bu4 guan3?' me and cheryl were laughing at her la. really very cute. haha. the plane ride back was so shiok cos we had alot of leg room. the row right in front of the big screen. hahah. comfy. and nice haagen daz ice cream for dessert! (: love it.
i really enjoyed the trip. although it was damn budget (we only spent s$500 on lodging, transport, shopping, food, leisure) but we had a good time tgt. chrystal is the ultimate. without her we wouldnt have been able to get good bargained prices, or get around with asking directions and etc etc. yay for chrystal. haha. cheryl is the photographer cos we were all too lazy tho we all brought camera. haha.

mmm. not working feels strange. i brought my craft stuff to kt but didnt do much in the end. no inspiration. haha. did sudoku and word searches. bummed ard alot. ate alot. got a pair of shoesies. did bracelets. oh oh oh, we went to the sisters' house today. they cooked up a great lunch of msian lor mee (: it was really good but i was stuffed man. talking about stuffed, my tummy has been really weird for the past few days since we arrived. like uncomfortable but not cos im hungry or what. and the feeling never goes away. annoying. oh well. man this trip is really short tho. not used to it. will miss the yummy food. like apo's cooking ((((: and the nasi, and the kuehs, and the noodles. mmm. apo thinks im anorexic or smth. haha. cos she hasnt seen me eat so little rice. zz. oh well.
my other wisdom tooth op wasnt too bad but i think it was more rooted than the previous one. the nurse had to hold my jaw down. and i think they had to break the tooth. despite the LA, i could feel the roots of the tooth moving out when they finally got it out. hahah. and they kept asking me if i was alright when they called the next day. cant wait to get the stitches out tmr. then my mouth will feel free (: hk is calling to me. SHOPPING! and i want to work ): feel so out of touch. haha. weird feeling. i miss bam. haha. pacey did many weird things with her.

the end of two very long days (: finally. hahah
yesterday i did 2nd opener. then we had open house. that was the highlight of the day. but my job was quite slack. so didnt really feel the excitement per se. ya. but i guess everyone had fun (: it was quite funny cos some people didnt even know what they were queueing for!
today i did standby opening. hahah. and wow i did bar again! shocking. i thought i would get a pos. yay i had fun (: hahaha. today was really busy in store! joann had like 5 cash pulls! hahah. the queue was endless. many many slams. everytime we wanted to do smth (topup stuff, go bussing, etc etc) it would be left hanging halfway cos we kept having customers coming in. my goodness. i expected myself to be really drained but surprisingly i was quite on the ball. haha. it was an enjoyable day. the last time i felt that busy was prob at paragon but that is still worse. ahha. i think we can hit/exceed today's target. i would like to find out... heh.
other wisdom tooth came out today. i think it was quite rooted. the tooth had to be broken. i think la. haha. the nurse had to hold my jaw down and stuff. ya. but it's not bleeding as much so that's good.
bam is so kaypoh. everytime people come to look at her cage she'll pop her head thru the window before coming out to 'greet' you. haha
mee hoon kuey on wed was a success (: hahah. it was fun. pacey had an abs workout! can you believe that. just form kneading dough. amazing. haha. we made so much. i was so full. bleah. hahaha. yay. i can make one more dish now.

long day today. im bushed. but it was quite funny. well, funny things happened during work.
it like around 4 plus then i found out from cindy that she is intending to hire this regular customer of ours. he's in his 40s and is not working cos he doesnt really need to. haha. but he's quite a coffe connosieur (is that how you spell it...). ya so i was just commenting how cute it'll be when he goes for trng and then everyone around him will be like youths. haha. then cindy say i very bad. haha. then this kid came up to the counter and he held out the chocolate powder shaker and said, "can you please top up your chocolate pow-BUURRRRRPPPPPP-der?" omg i couldnt ctrl myself and i couldnt stop laughing! then his mom was sitting right in front of the counter and i dunno if she realised. i felt so bad but still! then i quickly went to the back room to take bar mocha powder and i kept laughing to myself. haha. disgusting. he didnt even say excuse me or sorry. tsk. hahah
also, we had 2 trannies come to our store today. like quite obvious la. then they ordered darkcherrymochafrap. so i made their drinks. the next drink was grande white choc mocha. ronni was doing bar at that point of time. and he went to put in mocha and dark cherry syrup. then i looked at him and repeated the drink. and when he realised, he just chuckled and said, "sorry, i was distracted". haha. it's quite obvious what he was distracted by. then after they left he said, "i hope i dont get nightmares". i thought he was just joking la, then he told me and dayang that he had a nightmare once of being raped by trannies. hahah. aye so sad, he's leaving for SB woodlands soon ):

ack. the sporeans gg to unsw med next year have started buying their stets and textbooks! im quite lost :S

3. taking out my other wisdom tooth on fri
4. got free lunch today (see pacey's blog)
5. met up with trackers for dinner on sat
6. had annoying taitai customers on fri
7. going to msia and hk soon! (:
8. keep having insufficient practice with my cello
i cant wait to go shopping in hk (: i feel so restricted. like trying to 'save' for my trip. haha. open house is coming. how exciting. but i think i've been assign a boring job oh well. haha. still is exciting in some way.
