my brain (aka pacey) says that i attract weird people, ie the abovementioned. nevertheless, i still love them much and they never fail to make my day with their silliness (:
got a haircut on monday, my head feels significantly lighter now. haha. shaun says i look like a lion with my hair down. he says i look like simba -.- and then he asked, "did you do smth to your hair? you let down look like lion, you tie up also looks weird. (pauses awhile) OH YOU CUT YOUR HAIR!" and he goes off into the pantry. poor kaye... i wonder what else she has to endure. haha.
2 more days to the end of work. im gonna be quite tired by friday :S or saturday.. wait. sunday. yeah. but i'll get to see co tonight, along with many other people (: RAPTURE! much good food this week (: we had don's pie for staff lunch yesterday. it was so good! (shukun! we ate on your behalf :P ) shaun had 3 slices at a go. ie half a pie. and he was saying that we ate too little that's why got so much left. and to think he says soft drinks are fattenning... haha

our not-so-personal personal retreat turned out alright (: at least it didnt rain when we were having reflection... hahah, we met grace and anthea again! like we bumped into them last week on monday when we went cycling and here they are again. hahah. it was funny.
they were with their A4 classmates. then some were blading and some cycling. me and glory went ahead and kept detouring and kept popping up behind them... haha. the first detour was when we went down that snake road. (i call it snake road cos i dunno what road that is but we saw a squashed snake). the first time we cycled past it, we thought it was some rubber thing or what so we just ignored it. then cycling back, glory saw its guts spilled on the road. it was gross. like pus-filled intestines and some bulb of thing. it had ants and flies everywhere :S yes so we were waiting for them to come cos we wanted to scare jiahui (she is terrified of such things, even the smallest ones) then we waited... and waited... and waited... and then they appear! but at the merging of the cycling path in front -.- so we couldnt show them. zz. the second detour was at the jetty. the winds were so strong. super shiok (:
yeah by then the drizzle was setting in and as headed to the other end, it got heavier so we turned around (AGAIN!) and then got all the way up to the chalet before we stopped cos it was quite heavy. and so we sat and talked some more. haha. we returned our bikes in the end cos the rain wouldnt stop and we went to BK for TARO TURNOVER! (: i love it more than apple pie. haha. cos i love yam..
tsk, they won't even let us rest on a personal retreat day... shaun called to tell glory that they wanted a 40 DOS bulletin cover BY TUESDAY.. and she's not even working the next few days. so she has to go to work on monday (which is our rest day) to do it up so that they can have it printed on tues. tsk. lousy person, who had the great idea...
OH OH OH, i almost forgot! my future has been decided. yes. i'll be working in church part time for aug to help auntie selena with the admin stuff. and i've got a starbucks interview next tuesday! i foresee that my august will be really packed, and i might possibly die from everything. please pray i dont.. im still young; long life ahead. haha.

like our dear shaunie, i had a revelation last night too. actually it's not really a revelation, but a discovery. haha. and no, it's not smth that has been very obvious to everyone. haha
i discovered that what i thought were my wisdom teeth were actually NOT my wisdom teeth. so i saw 2 new teeth sprouting at the back of my lower jaw... yeah. they look kinda funny. oh well
the lunch turned out fine, but things are still not settled yet. hopefully all this work things can be settled soon. i hate the in between feeling. uncertainty is such a ___________ (put it your own word) feeling
rain is/was super heavy.. like doomsday. my sis woke me up like some emergency or smth. and cos my small pathetic umbrella cannot take heavy rain, i left it at home and brought a big umbrella out. but i did not expect it to be THAT big. i think i looked quite toot with it open just now. oh well. at least i reached work rather dry. heh.
looking forward to friday now. having a not-so-personal personal retreat on friday with glory. we're thinking of doing reflection on our time here... ehehehe.
i dread gg to work this week... living in denial now and avoiding thoughts of that. haha
it's not the work that i dread but more of the happenings :S why is it so complicated man. i dont really like how things are being discussed here. ah wells. LEAVING SOOON! 18 DAYS ONLY!
ooh, yesterday's 'from the inside out' was scary. but overall i felt that i could have done better. thanks for the encouragements (: im beginning to identify that feeling of when you wanna do smth and you wanna do it well, but the motivation is not fully there and you dont put as much effort into it as you can, and at the end of it you regret not doing so. tsk, that is bad.
i am getting a sore throat.
last week was pretty good cos glory and i had lunch with amy and sharon for thurs and fri and it felt really normal (like the good ol' days) and happy (: yay they're coming again this week! (: hahah. we had the duck at amy's house, sat at the same table, ate the same thing, talked nonsense (as usual). it really brought inner joy to glory and i (hurhur).
ack feeling so zz today. it's so terrible. like since i woke up i've been feeling so zz... maybe i woke up on the wrong side of the bed (it's not really possible cos my bed's against the wall so...) ah wells... lunch was somewhat a comfort but not enough. antisocial day...
on a sidenote, glory nat jialin and myself went to the zoo on monday! (: it was cool man. i quite enjoyed it (: though im kinda lazy to blog about it now.
just felt like whining and rambling. 3 more weeks to out of this odd hole...
OH OH OH! i dont have to stay on anymore (: yay. might say hi to starbucks soon. how exciting!
