i ended up sleeping at 1am this morning cos i was talking to my pacey (: but then i woke up at 6.30am and couldnt get back to sleep :S so so so, i ended up eating breakfast, watching relic hunter, practicing cello, watch more tv, had lunch and went back to bed before work. yeah. i was pretty zonked out during my nap but after that was more energised.
after someone of a lower mental capability tried to apply for fulltime at our store today, i feel really sad for them, though at that point of time the guy was really cute (his actions i mean). cos they're like the in between group, you know what i mean? and they try really hard to fit into society, to find a job which can help build up their self esteem as a person and it's so difficult especially with the rapid globalisation such that service standards are getting very high and expectations must be met. i can only pray that God will lead him to a job that is fulfilling and at the same time will be an outlet for him to use whatever skills he's been blessed with.
also, i see a trend in smokers who sit at our store. cos we have limited smoking tables for smokers, they often end up sharing the tables, and quite a number of them have really outgoing personalities and can click with others easily. but you will seldom see that happen with non-smokers. like even if non smokers share a table (strangers of course), it will not come to the point where they'll start talking to each other casually. yeah.
OH OH OH. haha. this happened on sun evening. i was doing pos. and was heating up a cookie for this customer la. i took it out of the oven and was going to put it on the plate and i dropped it on the floor -horrors!. and i made a really loud and unglam exclamation. i was so embarassed! then shida was doing bar drinks and she said the customer's reaction was like want to laugh but controlling himself. omg. she herself was wondering whether to laugh or to ignore me! and behind him were 2 more customers, and behind them sitting and talking was yolande (this high ranking lady from SB HQ) and her friend (dunno if SB one la). my tian. so i told him i'll get a new one and send it over. and the guy's kids were like giggling when i sent the cookie to them. i think they were laughing at me :S well they might not have been but still! it was embarassing. i couldnt help but laugh really hard at myself after that. haha. and shida kept trying to imitate my exclamation. that girl ah. haha.

it took me till just now to realise that tf is not this week. what am i thinking? :S
my body clock is screwed up. yesterday i came back from work at napped for like 2 hours plus. then i used com before dinner to prevent myself from climbing back into bed to sleep (cos i wanted to eat dinner) haha. then i slept at 10 i think. woke up at 7 today, had breakfast. slept again at 10 till 1230. had lunch and went to work. such a pig. but im still tired! zz. tmr mid shift again. I MUST PRACTICE CELLO TMR. feeling kinda irritable but okay-ish. that doesnt make sense.
this job really challenges people, myself included. cos you have to learn to love people. love partners, love customers especially. even when they are unlovely/hard to love, even when you are not in a good mood, even when you are tired. let God's love be shown to them in my actions each day..

highs and lows
today was a hairpee day :DDD yet sad at the same time. but i think more happy than sad. i think. PACEY. i realised that i was very happy during cello lesson. HAHA. i could feel it!
GE run this sun. i hope my timing doesnt turn out too bad. and that i can get enough rest after the run before work. and enough for monday morning too. haha.
i feel like cutting my hair really really short. like posh spice's pixie cut. it looks pretty cute. haha. but i dunno if i can carry it off. and if i dare to cut my hair so short cos the growing pains are quite a turnoff for my hair texture :S

so sad, tmr is one of my partner's last day. and i only found out today that tmr is his last day. so weird cos i thought i'd be the first person to leave SB, like i didnt imagine anyone to be leaving before me (cos in my mind they are mostly students working part time and full timers). yeah. what a weird feeling. haha
store volume was much more normal today, thankfully. in the morning a bit the quiet and empty but towards lunch time it went up up up (: so we as bored as we expected. sold alot of sandwiches today, only left like a ham and cheese and an italiano bagel when i left store. amazing. haha. had a late break which brought me from very hungry to not hungry but still eat. i tried the curry puff for once (cos usually im turned off by the oil but then today was super not oily. haha) it's quite nice. but i think i prefer old chang kee cos i like the outside to be crispy and thick.
and i made a booboo. so blind can. i was supposed to make a frap drink. i finished one pitcher of the frap coffee and needed somemore. and for some reason i thought that there was no more pitchers of frap in the fridge outside. so i went in to bring out the container of frap mix only to face suharti opening the fridge and pull out another pitcher of the mix -.- i was so embarassed. haha. oh well.

work days this coming week:
tues 3-10
thurs 9-16
fri 8-3.30
sun 3-10
smth very disturbing and gross happened at work today. but i shant blog about it lest it gets discovered and i start some sb scandal.. haha you can ask me about it.
smth funny tho was when suharti asked hanim for a bussing cloth, "hanim can you pass me a bussing cloth so i can wipe her table (refering to customer)?" and hanim heard "hanim can you pass me a bussing cloth so i can wipe her bagel?" LOL it was hilarious cos hanim was so shocked and surprised she replied "wipe her bagel?!" uber loudly. hahaha i couldnt stop laughing after that. today the store was quite empty for a weekend. probably cos of the rainy weather and all. yeah. got kinda boring but time passed really fast. many wrong drinks. ahha. cos got customers who say 'cold one, cold one' and we all think iced drinks, not blended drinks. yeah.
shawn is getting really annoying. zz. i cant wait for O's to be over.

i am not being abused at work.. it's just me and my injury proneness.. haha
anw, i am here to blog about some stuff i forgot to yesterday cos i was so tired.
before that, i just ate an orange with 32 seeds :O :O
okay, back to the square (hahah ms zhao always says that, i find it very amusing). it's such a joyful/peaceful/relieving experience to worship God amongst people whose hearts are also crying out to Him in praise and thanksgiving. like on monday and wed when the whole p&p team was singing praise to our Lord, there was so much gusto and passion in the air. and it serves as a reminder of how GREAT this God we are serving is and how much praise He truly deserves with every bit of our heart soul mind and strength. and the music/worship that evolved (from just voices and a guitar mind you) was so beautiful (: yay, to God be the glory!
i got really annoyed at the people on 854 yesterday on the way home from dental. cos there was this couple standing to the right of the exit, refusing to move in when people at the entrance were standing on the steps. and they saw the big space beside them and stood their ground with their arms around each other. zz. i just 'excuse me excuse me' and moved in. and NO ONE ELSE followed. ie the people were still stuck at the door. so terrible. then there was this middle aged guy carrying his toddler (<2 years)and no one gave up a seat for him till 2/3 bus stops later. and what's more the bus driver was speeding so it was difficult to keep balance cos he was swerving everywhere. we really deserve the label of 'ugly singaporeans' man...
and, it really irks me when people ask you smth, and then you tell them, and not long after they ask you again, as though you never told them before & it happens consistently.

TGIF
my tian, it's been such a long, tiring, draining week :S
like since last friday, i've had 4 long days, 1 rest day and another 3 long days with 1.5 more long days to go :S
i went for attachment at paragon on wed. did my first opening there (: it was a crazy but good exposure. it is such a high volume store that customers keep coming in and you never have any time to do bussing/top up wet prep/etc etc. perpetually on your feet doing pos/bar/frappe/bussing(rare chance) and when you buss, you can go two rounds just to clear all the tables. thank God i dont work in that store. hahah. had P&P for the building that night. was playing cello. i got pretty bored halfway cos i was so tired (was up since 5.45am) and i escaped to the office, intending to take a nap but even before i could fall asleep, shukun came to call me for closing song alr. hahah.
thurs and today was back at the store. 3rd opener so did R2. yay. haha i like cos can slide to bar and frappe :D thurs, store was like a ghost town. super empty/quiet compared to usual business. alot of cakes were left in the pastry case. yeah..
today, i found out oscar and yihan have an older sister! and also that oscar is younger than yihan. hahah i always thought yihan was younger. had lunch with suyin at the foodcourt cos she was at the store for almost the whole day. actually you can say for my entire shift. hahah.
OH OH OH. dr heng (my orthodontist) was at my store today. and i didnt even realise. hahaha. cos when i went for dental he asked if i was working at SB US, then i said yes (i was thinking how he know). then he said, "oh no wonder! i was there today and i was wondering if you recognised me." HAHA. then he said he ordered latte and banana walnut loaf. and i recalled seeing him earlier in the day, wondering why he looked so familiar (not cos he's a regular or anything) but i couldnt put two and two tgt. and i asked him about my wisdom teeth. i have to extract :S all 4/6 :(((( i dont like. the thought of it is scary...eeks
my hands are in terrible condition now. ahha. my fingertips are peeling/rough from touching hot stuff (esp in paragon store on wed where the dishwasher is SUPER DUPER HOT). my cuticles are pulling away from my nails and some are cut/bruised. my right wrist is clicking away when i rotate my wrist and it was throbbing for a while just now :S sinseh soon. i thought i'd have no cello lesson in the coming week (a chance to go sinseh) but then now got so i shall find some way... i just dont want to bao it up cos it's very inconvenient and the herby thingy gets to you after a while. haha.
PAAAACCCCCCEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYY
come home now please? im sure you can fit in a fedex box. ahaha.
i really miss you, and our companionship ):

yay monday is over, i can sleep in tmr (: BLISS. haha.
my goodness. raya outing yesterday was nice, got company and food. but a bit too much food. and too many houses. it was madness. i was so tired and stuffed until when i went for practice i was so seh and my brain was not ticking. haha. not at all... i think most of the time i was just playing randomly. i KO-ed once i got home. and overslept this morning :P
was supposed to be second opener today. my alarm went off at 6.15am. i told myself 5 more minutes and whoo. it became 45 minutes! when i woke up i was like wondering why so bright. then i realised the time and i panicked! thank God i reached work on-time-ish/slightly late. yeah. somehow He always seems to give me extra rest that does not seem to foil my schedule. haha. thankful (:
everyone was so zonked from raya outing. fizah was doing opening with ronni. she was like a zombie i tell you. she can cup mark halfway, or arrange pastry case halfway and nod off! and still can dream somemore, talk to herself... it was quite amusing. haha. and she cup marked a whole chain of drinks on ONE cup. lol. i got burnt by the oven. again. and all the small mistakes when my mind was still waking up. hahah
AND AND AND. the POS system died on us. like halfway thru slam period. my tian. we had to take calculator, look at the prices on the beverage board, look at prices on the pastry case then manually press and calculate. it was so tedious! everything was so messy. like stuff were EVERYWHERE. i think cos the tiredness slowed down the opening. haha. cos all half the pastry case was not filled till like 10-ish? which is extremely late. aye. the 1st 2 hours passed so so so slowly. hooray. we were so disorganised today :S fizah called me leihah. fahmy called me gelen. aiyo. hahahah. all gone alr...
practice today was alright. i still feel abit lost when i play cello tho. like somehow the direction is not strong. i dunno why. yeah. i had to start the practice with prayer and worship. and i was wracking my brains for a suitable song. and like right before we started it just popped into my mind. and it was so appropriate. interesting how God impresses simple things like that on our hearts (:
joann thinks im very pious. just cos im involved in ministry and stuff.. when we were coming back from trash run. ahah. cos she says she'll never want to be involved (she's catholic i think). i was trying to think of how to explain to her. and all i could say was that when it becomes very personal then you'll know why. i also dunno why i said that. prob wanted to say smth else but came out wrong/weird... oh well.
PACEY!!! must take photos of your boots. ahhaha. of you IN your boots. then show me (: hahah. good fashion influence. i think. i hope. ahhah.

the day started well. went to exercise abit and settle some stuff before i left house with ra to go ps and look see, buy things, eat lunch. everything was alright. but part of my day was kinda ruined by this annoying customer. zz. grow up la huh...
the later part of the day was better. time passed faster so not too bad. except for the bit where i knocked my head against the ceiling... i went to backroom to get houseblend beans. then i stood on the chair to reach the beans in the little extension and forgot bout the 'door'frame there so you can guess what happened
finally bought magnets to make stuff so that my pencils will never get stuck/lost/in the way of my scores anymore (: i'm happy now. felt is my new toy. i like. haha.

feeling philosophical. haha. no la. just thinking of stuff. today i heard my friend's mum got diagnosed with cancer. i felt a heavy heart when i found out about it. just this whole 'i've been thru it and i know what it feels like' feeling, like with every other cancer stricken person i've heard of/met/etc. yeah. i was just wondering if it were better to hear about such things when you are young and not knowledgeable about such things, or to hear bout it when you are old and matured and get all upset about it. not that you dont get upset if you're young, but just that the feelings at that point of time and experiences before/during/after are different. i dunno. maybe both are equally bad :S
had guitar lesson with shaun today. i was encouraged, somehow. thanks God (: and by what i read last night (YES I READ THE BIBLE!). i read ezekiel 47, and this verse stood out to me: "Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing." it reminded me of the importance of staying close to God and how it can lead to the outpouring of the spirit in our lives. yep.
and i realised that it's not that i just dont like crowds, i dont like big spaces when i have to do smth, knowing that im being watched. like lesson is usually in the conference room. and shaun makes me sing when i play, which is a good thing, but i get very shy if i have to sing alone. hahah. but today we were forced into the meeting room which is alot smaller. and i felt more comfortable when i had to sing and play. somehow. hahaha. maybe it's just psychological.
shaun says SB is changing me. like im becoming more outgoing. haha. but actually i dont really think so (sorry shaun :P). i think it's just how much of yourself or which side of yourself you choose to show around people i guess. i dont feel changed leh. haha. oh well, they often say people can see what you cant about yourself.
ack cello lessons, im screwed D:

I JUST HAVE TO BLOG ABOUT THIS!
omg there was this big fat cockroach in the dining room just now, and there was my sushi on the table! it was at risk! the cockroach was on my bro's shirt on the chair. and the moment i saw it i was out of control and i kept saying 'cockroach! cockroach! kill it!' and my bro kept asking me where it was so naturally i said, 'on your shirt!' and then he started fumbling with HIS shirt (the one on him) and i was like, no it's there it's there (repeatedly pointing at the dining area behind him). AND THEN IT STARTED FLYING! omg i was exasperated beyond words! and my brother panicked like siao cos he thought it was on him! LOL i didnt know whether to laugh or to cry. it was hilarious. and i couldnt stop laughing even after i grabbed the sushi and ran to the living room. i was going to eat and watch ugly betty. then i realised that it could fly from the dining area to the living room, which it did! my tian, i ran to daddy's room with my sushi. and i made him help me throw away the container after that cos i didnt want to go near the cockroach area :S disgusting things. yuck. now we all have no idea where it is cos my dad didnt kill it cos he couldnt find it. zz. i hope it goes home tonight.
my future partner must love killing cockroaches. hahah. no la. just brave enough to kill can alr. hahah

LOL i didnt know whether to laugh or to cry. it was hilarious. and i couldnt stop laughing even after i grabbed the sushi and ran to the living room. i was going to eat and watch ugly betty. then i realised that it could fly from the dining area to the living room, which it did! my tian, i ran to daddy's room with my sushi. and i made him help me throw away the container after that cos i didnt want to go near the cockroach area :S disgusting things. yuck. now we all have no idea where it is cos my dad didnt kill it cos he couldnt find it. zz. i hope it goes home tonight.
my future partner must love killing cockroaches. hahah. no la. just brave enough to kill can alr. hahah

wow, i got to talk to my pacey 2 times in 24 hours yesterday. coolios (: haha but i had to sleep alr so no choice must stop talking.
didnt go to church today. totally zonked out :S today was a long day too. like time seemed to pass quite slowly. and not that many customers towards closing so boring. haha. i dropped a banana cake on the floor cos i turned too fast without gripping it tight enough with the tongs. haha. poor cake.
me shahidah and yasser were amused by ronni's surname. cos his name is ronnizan bin katman. then shahidah was saying how angmohs who dunno might pronounce as catman. haha. later on shahidah told ronni (i think) then ronni said last time during exam he wrote his full name on the exam paper, then his K looked like a B. and when the teacher returned, he read out, "ronnizan bin... b-batman?" HAHA. when he said that part i just came in from bussing and i kept laughing. then he was like 'eh still laugh'. haha. that was the funniest part of my day.
got an orh ceh today. on my arm. zz. and i think i might go see a sinseh to rub my wrist.
working on:
tues 8-3
fri 3-11

happiness is

to be able to talk to my pacey on skype this morning! it was totally unplanned but oh, we had endless laughter. haha.. i bet most people are convinced we are lesbian or smth... haha. oh well, think what you want but WE ARE NOT.
yay now im going to buy many relatively cheap food items to send to her. haha.
sianness in leading is quite apparent now, to me i think it is la. time to move on... i'm kinda stuck in a spiritual life rut now. still. argh. i need to move away from the hypocrisy. serving in such a situation is potentially dangerous. could be beneficial but nonetheless i dont want to keep risking it either. please pray

as promised, pictures and stories from japan (:
we left on the morning of 25th at an unearthly hour. flew to narita airport in tokyo and transitted to new chitose airport in sapporo. di's boots died on her. one heel came off at narita and we had to resort to buying these for her feet as there weren't many shoe shops around e airport.

we got on the railway at new chitose and headed down to sapporo station for dinner (cos we had to change to the subway there too). we had dinner at this fastfood place. but they sell jap fastfood and not like bk or macs whatever. it's quite a cool system cos they have this vending machine for you to place your order and pay then you go in and wait and they'll serve it to you.

day 2 we took the railway down to otaru which is northwest of hokkaido, near the ports. that day was our first at seeing the huge seafood they have there! we walked thru a market and saw things like crab, salmon roe, preserved fish, squid, big fish, shellfish, seaweed, etc on sale. which we come to realise were common food products for them and as such made a large part of their diet besides rice.

we had lunch from a supermarket. it's inside this huge departmental store called nagasakiya and di bought sneakers to replace those green things. at first we were wondering why the departmental store was so empty, until we stepped into the supermarket at the basement where there were throngs of oldies shopping! my gosh it was so crowded. no wonder they keep talking about ageing population in japan. you never know how scary it is till you see it for yourself. they are intimidating...
check out this humongomous onigiri:

spent the day walking around otaru, bought some snacks from there. saw alot of marimo for sale. hahah some of them are as big as my fist! scary. otaru is famous for their glassware. alot of glass items for sale. i bought these mini glass thingys with a glass bubble attached to them. you can put them in water and they'll float, with the thingys hanging down in to the water. very cute (:

at a closed railway:

my dad posing with a pole:

we split at sapporo station cos di wanted to get some beauty products from pole town (a shopping mall) so me and daddy went to daimaru to look see. the whole basement was crowded with people who just got off work buying dinner and snacks. we bought cakes (sweet treats) to try. the jap people are really creative and good at desserts, i must say. it looks pretty and tastes good (:

at the top floor of daimaru they were having a wine fair. we got to sample this ex wine. it's a type of wine called ice wine, really sweet and quite alcoholic i think. from the small sample cup, the lady split it into 3 portions. haha so you can imagine how ex it is. and with one sip, you can feel your whole body become warm. it was really nice (: haha.
had dinner at ramen alley right behind our hotel. it's a small alley filled with many ramen shops all competing for business. it was really nice. though it's not high class or anything, it beats whatever "authentic" jap food you can get in spore.
the ramen uncle:

day 3 was spent at hakodate, the southern tip of hokkaido, famous for fresh seafood. we visited the morning market and walked past this shop in the centre of the market. they had a huge tank of swimming squid. and they allow customers to fish for a squid with rod and hook and then they'll slice it up for you as sashimi. hahaha. we saw this kid catching one and the squid got caught at the head and as he lifted it out of the water it was making weird squirting noises as its legs were flailing madly in the air. it was amusing but then if i had to do it, i wont eat the squid. cant bear to eat smth that i've seen alive and squirming a while ago :S
had lunch at this shop near the market. we had donburi with salmon roe, crab, sashimi. the salmon roe was really fun to eat. cos it's much bigger than prawn roe, you can literally pop them in your mouth and you feel the contents ooze out in your mouth. haha. you can just have a meal with rice & salmon roe cos the roe is salty so it still makes a tasty meal (:

went walking around but realised not much to see after the market also. haha. we saw a carshow. for really ancient models. it was quite cool but cos these cars were in use, the owners didnt really keep the insides neat and clean so it kinda spoiled the image of the car. haha

we had dinner at this beef grill place. man, the meat was SO GOOD! it was nice and tender, not too fatty. we had 2 portions of a cut near the stomach lining and one of the flank (i think it's the flank la. ahha) it was really tasty and sweet. not chewy or tough like beef can be sometimes. it was heaven! haha. forgot to bring the cam then tho, so no photos on that one. but i'll never forget it. it was the best beef meal i've ever had.
on the 4th day, we went to biei and furano which are in central hokkaido. lots of farms and flowers. our first stop was at biei were we chanced upon a small local produce market beside a park. they have huge carrots. short and fat. haha.

and we bought some corn (cos it's known to be nice) and cherry tomatoes which we enjoyed on the train ride to nakafurano. it was firm and juicy. i accidentally squirted juice on my jacket. haha. the train we took was really cool. like some kind of old european train. wooden interior and all. but it's a tad slower. like a chug chug train. ahah

at nakafurano we went to the lavander fields at farm tomita but we kinda missed the blooming period. they had other nice flowers in bloom tho. we tried lavander ice cream and pudding. yum yum (:

lunched at a small cafe while waiting for our train to come. di said that the trains are ALWAYS on time (they come at fixed timings) and if people were to ever say they were late cos of train delay, their bosses wont believe them and they have to produce a train ticket thing to prove that the train was delayed.
we took a long walk from the lavander fields station to nakafurano station. my goodness it was so secluded we thought the station was closed. when we walked in there was no one there. till we turned around and saw the station master sitting quietly in one corner. ahha. spent the rest of the afternoon at the cheese factory/ice milk factory. the dairy products there are really good. like what you can get from the european countries in terms of standard. and they like lowfat milk. haha

some cute wooden orchestra that was on display in the factory. i dunno why such a thing of no relevance was there but it was really cool

on the train ride back it was damn cold. i couldnt feel my feet and toesies :S and to cure that, we had starbucks at sapporo station! (: i felt at home... haha. cos the tables and chairs were the same. similar products too. and they have SHORT drinks for all their drinks! cna you imagine. like blending a short frappucino. so tiny. hahaha. i had caramel macchiato. i was tempted to make my own drink at the la mar. but of course that would have been impossible. haha.

our last day we went around sapporo. first stop was shopping. haha. it just happened on our way to nijyo fish market. haha. daiso was the ultimate! it had 5 floors of many many stuff. much bigger selection than what we get in spore. and cos they have a culture of bringing food from home, they have cute lunchboxes with deco items, cutlery with cases, etc. kawaii desu ne. haha. we had to go back to hotel to put our stuff down.
at the clock tower:

then from there we walked down to odori park (one stop away from from susukino where our hotel was)

we managed to catch the autumn festival that was ongoing and had our brunch there.

after lunch we took the sub down to chuo central wholesale market. we got to try a slice of melon there. their melons are really pricey. got different grades like durian like that. i saw one pair of small melons at daimaru priced at 16000yen. which is like 160USD so you can imagine the price. but trying one slice is enough to let one savour the sweetness and juicyness of the fruit. shiok (:
there were some shops we walked past where we saw sacs and sacs of salmon roe. and they separate them by gently rubbing the chunk across a wire mesh and the roe would fall to a container below. went into one of the bigger shops which had alot of seafood on sale. check out this squid leg, it's damn big! i could clobber someone with it...

our last stop for the day was at sapporo beer garden and museum.

they had some displays to show how beer is made.

our last dinner was at a jap restaurant. their sashimi was not too bad (i only eat yellowtail) and we tried their grilled crab. that was really disappointing cos although it was so big, the meat was difficult to remove and it was quite hard. but it was a good meal. the soba was the ultimate. you just cant get enough of it! i had to restrain myself from eating too much of it. haha.

that night was some major packing session, trying to squeeze everything into our bags. we came with 2 bags and went home with 3 check-ins and 4 additional carry-ons so you can go imagine. haha. that's daddy surrounded by bags on the train to the airport. he looks kinda constipated but we had no choice, he had to half squat if not he wouldnt fit into the picture. haha.

we checked in pretty early so we had time to put our carryons into a locker and go to minami chitose to shop/look see. they had this big outdoor mall. a cross between a shop-town and a factory outlet place. yeah. many many shops. had lunch there too, in this scandinavian-ish styled building

headed back to the airport after that, where we took a plane to narita. they have this cute thing of ferrying passengers on a bus from the boarding area to the plane. on our way to sapporo when we were coming in, the bus was super packed. the plane was around an airbus size. then coming back we were sitting in the bus wondering why it was so empty. other passengers had the same thought in mind cos the bus driver was waiting for the cue to drive off. then no one else boarded the bus so we were thinking maybe later got another bus or smth. then as he drove, we were approaching this really tiny plane. i wanted to tell di 'eh look, someone's private jet'. and then the bus stopped in front of it. everyone was so shocked that our plane was so small; someone let out a stifled giggle. hahaha! it was really very small! we were seated at the front of the plane and that's the pic to the back.

at narita airport, we had some time to burn as well while waiting for transit so we went shopping yet again. bought much more snacks this time. and also winter wear from uniqlo. buying for aussie :S twas a weird feeling. haha. i saw domokun (: and totoro and friends. okay i dunno why the photo is like sideways but nvm you can still see domokun. i want the really big huggable one. it was so cute! but then very ex also. haha. like 8000yen so i settled for a small one.

the flight back was not too smooth. delayed take off and alot of turbulence. the weather in tokyo was really wet and cloudy. like can see a line forming for the planes to take off. and like not even 100m off the ground, the fog sets in and you cant see anything outside the window. landed in spore earlier than expected.. yeah.
other stuff on my trip included di going crazy at the sight of hello kitty products. she bought super alot of hello kitty merchandise. even my dad was appalled. ahha. i realised jap people like clamshell phones and hp accessories. and they take pride in the things they do, which is really admirable. the service standard is really good there too. didnt include all the details of the trip but most of them are up there alr. all in all, it was a good relaxing trip. although not many things for sightseeing, the food and shopping made up for that. nice (:
on a side note, i think i killed my wrist again yesterday while moving the frap mix into the fridge :S sian.
